WAY at the Greek pharmaceutical industry investments
WAY was entrusted with the end-to-end planning, organization, and communications management of the official visit of the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, to the Industrial Area of Tripoli on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, where he visited the strategic investment projects of DEMO, Win Medica (ELPEN Group), and FARAN.

The Prime Minister was accompanied by the Minister of Health, Adonis Georgiadis; the Deputy Minister of Education and Member of Parliament for Arcadia, Kostas Vlasis; the Regional Governor of Peloponnese, Dimitris Ptochos; former Alternate Minister of Health, Vasilis Kontozamanis; Professor and Chairman of the Committee at the PEF Academy of Pharmaceutical Medicine, Kyriakos Souliotis; as well as representatives of institutional organizations and local government authorities.

Tour of the Win Medica and DEMO facilities
The visit commenced at the facilities of Win Medica (ELPEN Group), where the company’s ongoing investment projects and long-term development strategy were presented, highlighting the pharmaceutical industry’s pivotal role in strengthening Greece’s national manufacturing base. The programme concluded with a tour of DEMO’s production facilities, where the company’s vertically integrated operations were showcased, with particular emphasis on the manufacturing of penicillin-based medicines, active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), and finished pharmaceutical products.
