WAY was responsible for the design, organization, execution, and communication of the Annual New Year’s Event of the PanHellenic Union of Pharmaceutical Industry, which took place on Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at the Divani Caravel Hotel.

The event was honored with the presence of government officials, including the Minister of Health, Mr. Vassilis Kikilias, the Minister of Finance, Mr. Christos Staikouras, the Minister of Development and Investments, Mr. Adonis Georgiadis, the Deputy Minister of Health, Mr. Vassilis Kontozamanis, the Deputy Minister responsible for Industry and Commerce, Mr. Nikos Papathanasis, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Konstantinos Vlassis.

The event was also attended by representatives of the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors, including the President of the Panhellenic Pharmaceutical Association (PFS), Mr. Apostolos Valtas, the First Vice President of the Athens Medical Association (ISA), Mr. Fotios Patsourakos, the President of the Hellenic Association of Pharmaceutical Enterprises (SFEE), Mr. Olympios Papadimitriou, and the President of the Pharma Innovation Forum (PIF), Mr. Makis Papataxiarchis.

Additionally, numerous MPs, representatives of scientific organizations, journalists, and executives from PEF member companies participated, sending their message for the creation of a sustainable pharmaceutical policy system that effectively responds to patient needs and capitalizes on the developmental potential of the Greek pharmaceutical industry.
