WAY organized, conducted, and communicated the Press Conference of the PanHellenic Union of Pharmaceutical Industry (PEF) focused on current developments in pharmaceutical policy. This event took place on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, at the Divani Caravel Hotel.

Speakers at the Press Conference included Mr. Theodoros Tryfon, President of PEF; Mr. Dimitris Giannakopoulos, CEO and Deputy Chairman of the Board of VIANEX, Mr. Dimitris Demos, Vice Chairman of PEF, Mr. Simos Anastasopoulos, Board Member of PEF and President of the Hellenic-American Chamber of Commerce, and Mr. Theodoros Koletis, Vice Chairman of PEF. The Press Conference was coordinated by Ms. Faye Kosmopoulou, General Director of PEF.

During the conference, Mr. Theodoros Tryfon highlighted that “a new generation of problematic businesses is being created by the pharmaceutical policy of the last decade“.

The meeting with journalists was prompted by the submission of proposals from the Greek pharmaceutical industry to the inter-party committee for pharmaceuticals. These proposals were accompanied by a well-documented analysis of the conditions prevailing in the Greek pharmaceutical market because of the long-standing distorted policies of recent years.
